Understanding the Mobile App Status Symbols

This article will review the different status symbols when scanning a testing sheet through the mobile app.

There are two status symbols colors that will be set/returned when using the mobile app:

  • Green (successful scan)
  • Red (failed scan)

Successful Scans (Green Indicator)

When a scan has been successful sent to the engine for processing, you will be able to see further results of the scan within the PaperScorer web app. Each scanned sheet will be attached to a specific assessment. Please view that assessments scan history to see the results of the scanned sheet.

We do have future plans to pass back scan information back into the mobile app. However, at this time, any further details about the scanned sheet will exist in the PaperScorer web app ONLY.

Failed Scans (Red Indicator)

When a scan has an issue, you will see a red indicator option. This mean the engine wasn't able to process the scan successfully, and there will be no further information in the PaperScorer web app. If you run into a red indicator, you should do the follow:

  1. Attempt to scan the testing sheet again.
  2. Make sure the testing sheet is clear.
  3. Make sure you camera is functioning properly.
  4. Contact the PaperScorer support team.
